Matt Eckhardt was recognized at the 24th Annual Northeastern Ohio National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet. We congratulate Matt for his hard word and effort both on and off the football field. Great job, Matt!

Congratulations to Bridget Hughes for committing to play athletics at Baldwin Wallace College next year. Bridget will be swimming for the Yellow Jackets during the 2012-13 school year. Congratulations, Bridget and good luck next season!
Eagles Will Play for District Championship

Austin Bevins slides safely into third base
The Avon baseball team defeated Amherst 7-2 in the district semi-final. The Eagles will play Westlake in the District Final tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5:00 p.m. at the Lorain Pipe Yard. Admission will be $6.00 for all adults and $4.00 for students.

Boys Track Win WSC Championship

Brentten Wiley won the 100M and 300M hurdles
The boys track team captured the WSC Championship on Friday, running (and throwing) to six first-place victories, finishing ahead of N. Ridgeville by a healthy margin (189-148). Brentten Wiley, Austin Fasciana and Paul Sturm all won individual championships. The 3200M and 800M relay teams also won their events. The WSC title was the second (2010) in three years for the boys team.
The girls team placed fourth.

Congratulations to the following 11 senior student-athletes who have committed to play college athletics. Avon is very proud that this year, the class of 2012 has 24 student-athletes going on to play at the collegiate level. This is the most in school history.

Spring Running Club

There will be a running club for students in grades 3-6. This club starts Monday, May 14th and runs through May 30.

Online Payment for Pay to Participate

Our online payment program for Pay to Participate is up and running. Please click here for instructions. Also note, it appears this function works best using Internet Explorer. There have been problems reported when using a Mac.
Pay to Participate Fees are due on Monday, March 12. The Middle School fee is $100, High School fee is $200, with a $350 family cap.
Please click here to go to the school's website for all the information regarding Pay to Participate, including the registration form and scholarship forms. Once at the school's website, you will find the Pay to Participate information under the "2011-12 Fees and Supplies".
