Girls Tennis

Girls wanting to play on the JV team, Coach Gibbs is having a camp from June 19 - August 2. It will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 11am at Avon High School. Cost is $75. Please call Coach Gibbs for more information 440.552.5470.
Incoming freshman (Freshman in September) interested in playing JV tennis, Coach Gibbs is having a camp from June 11 - June 22. This camp is held Monday through Friday from 9:30am - 11:30am. Cost is $95.

Middle School Football
There will be a football camp for those boys entering grades 7 and 8 in September. Camp dates are July 23 through July 26. The time is 6pm to 8pm.

Lady Eagles Basketball Camp

In conjunction with the Avon High School Girls Basketball Program, the Avon Recreation Department is offering a basketball camp for Avon girls entering grades 4 - 9 in the Fall of 2012. Camp will run from June 18 - 21, 2012 and will include instruction, fundamental drills and team play. Campers will be grouped according to ability level.
WHO: Avon girls in grades 4 - 6 will meet from 9:00am - 11:00am
Avon girls in grades 7 -9 will meet from 11:00am - 1:00pm
WHERE: AHS Main Gymnasium
COST: $60 All campers will receive a T-shirt, certificate of participation and a season pass to attend all High School Girls Basketball home games for the 2012-'13 season.

Gymnastics Classes

Coach Turek will be coaching a high school gymnastics class this summer at Ten Point O. The class will be held on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30. We are going to allow a drop-in fee rate of $25 per class or if you sign up for at least 4 weeks of class, the cost is $20 per week. You may sign up for 4-8 weeks of class. Classes begin the week of June 11th and end the week of August 6th. (Gym is closed the week of July 4th.)
This class is open to all girls going into 7th grade and older. Experience is not a requirement and this summer class does not mean you must become permanent members of Ten Point O or even compete for the Avon team next year. These classes are open to girls from all high schools, not just Avon. I encourage anyone and everyone to come if and when they can! The practices will be designed for a high school team, not a competitive club regimen.
