Avon Lady Eagles - 2012 Districts

On Tuesday, the Avon Lady Eagles closed out another successful year of girls golf by competing in the OHSAA Northeast District tournament at the Legends of Massillon. This was the fourth straight year that Avon made it to the district level, and it was their best finish as the girls shot a team total of 371. The 10th place finish was an improvement from last year's 14th place showing at the same event, and the team total was a new school low for the district tournament. Individual scores from yesterday's round were: Kaitlin Neumann (82), Sarah Warnkin (93), Hannah Strack (95), Anna Schatschneider (101), and Taylor Doehne (105). For the year, the Eagles went undefeated in match play and rolled to their fourth consecutive West Shore Conference championship, along with their district appearance at Massillon. Congratulations ladies on another stellar season of golf!
