Volley for the Cure a Huge Success!

Madi Matisak and Liz Zollos make a strong effort to save a point

Avon Volleyball hosted the annual Volley for the Cure match Thursday and the team is proud to announce the event raised over $6,800! And we still have money coming in! The proceeds from all the money we raised will benefit the Ohio Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Our teams, schools, and community did an amazing job coming together for such a great cause!

The energy from the evening's success also helped the team, as Avon defeated Vermilion in 3 sets: 25-16, 25-17, 25-9, the Eagles improved to 14-6 overall and 10-2 in WSC.
