Wrestling Leads the WSC!

Congratulations to the Avon Wrestling team who dominated their arch rival Midview last night 42 to 19. The win gives our team the lead in the WSC conference race going into next weekends WSC tournament. Individual winners on the night include Frank Rizzo, Max Kuchenrither, Adam Kirresh, Jake Delorge, Hamza Kirresh, Ryan Steinmetz, Joe Travagliante, and Alex Cranmer. Good Job Guys!
Wrestling - Dominates Lakewood & John Marshall

Congratulations to the Avon Wrestling team who had a dominating performance over the weekend. The eagles beat Lakewood 64 to 15 and John Marshall 78 to 6. Double winners on the night include Kolin Carney, Alex Shermak, Jack Gothier, Austin Matsko, Max Kuchenrither, Jake Delorge, Travis Leopold, Tyler Vaccarella, Cory Ohradzansky, Hamza Kirresh, Paul Sturm, and Joe Travaglainte.
JV’s also had a successful night. Brandon Blakely, Adam Kirresh, Elvis Saikaly, Ryan Steinmentz and Andrew Roesch all registered wins. Good Job Guys!
Wrestling - Strong Showing at K of C Tournament

Congratulations to the Avon Wrestling team who had a strong showing at the 32nd annual Knights of Columbus Tournament in Avon Lake over the weekend. The Eagles placed 4th out of 15 teams. Avon also posted strong individual performances. Placing for the eagles include Bryan Stringer Adam Kirresh, and Joe Travagliante placing 6th, Frank Rizzo, Alex Shermak, Brandon Blakely and Paul Sturm placing 5th, Jack Gothier and Max Kuchenrither placing 4th, Adam Barker placing 3rd, Jake DeLorge placing 2nd and Hamza Kirresh winning the championship at 182 pound weight class.
